where your dog

becomes art

Custom artwork that celebrates your dog, while blending seamlessly with your home aesthetic

At our Queen West studio, we reveal your pup’s inner icon…

and transform them into fine art.

β€œHannah was fantastic! She was so patient with my dog, and took the time he needed in order to make him comfortable and the photos turned out better than I could have imagined. It was such a fun experience.”

FAQ

  • We believe that fantastic portrait photography belongs on walls and in albums. At Goodwolf Studio, we work together with our clients for the full lifecycle of the image; from planning session, through capturing and then selecting images, and finally overseeing the creation of beautiful, high-quality printed artworks to enrich and enliven your home.

Within 7-10 days of your session, you will have a zoom meeting with Hannah. You will review a selection of the best images from your session, and Hannah will guide you through the process of deciding which ones you would like purchase as fine art objects for your home.

We offer a wide range of carefully curated wall art in metal, acrylic, and framed options, as well as beautiful hand-bound albums and European hand-crafted image box collections of matted prints. Individual wall art starts at $720, and the average client spends between $2000-$5000.

Your session fee includes a $200 print credit.

We understand that homes in the GTA come in many shapes and sizes, so we are happy to offer a collection that can work for any space. A 40x60 inch portrait as a dramatic addition to your spacious foyer, or a gorgeous leather-bound album filled with beautiful images to live on your coffee table.

  • We are very proud of our ability to work with sensitive dogs. Over the course of hundreds of photoshoots with animals, Hannah noticed how many pets had a nervous or negative reaction to traditional studio flash.

In her 6th year of business, Hannah invested in a full second set of professional studio lighting that is completely flash-free (continuous video lighting). The difference was immediate - many dogs that previously would have had a tough time in the studio, were able to experience a quiet and stress-free silent, peaceful photoshoot. To her knowledge, Hannah is one of only a small number of pet photographers currently working in this way.

If you have questions about how your pet would handle a photoshoot, please reach out. Hannah will ask you some very specific questions about your pet and provide an honest assessment.

  • Our default is to shoot them both individually as well as together, but your preference (and their cooperation!) will guide our approach. Most folks prefer a combination. Sometimes it’s tricky to coordinate, and Hannah will probably get you to help out!

  • If your pet is treat-motivated or toy-driven, even without a solid grasp of commands we can still get great shots.

We understand that some circumstances mean that your pet may not have these mastered- with rescues or young puppies, for example. We have done many successful shoots without any β€œsit”, β€œdown”, or β€œpaw”.

If you’re still not sure if your dog is a good fit, please reach out.

  • Each physical art product comes with a matching digital file, printable up to an 8x10.

We do not share unedited digital files.

  • Absolutely. When you book your session, you’ll choose whether you want a session that’s just your pet (or pets), or a session that involves both pets and people.

The goal is to illuminate the deep connection between you and your pet, and turn it into something more than just a snapshot. We aim to create art.

If you would like to be in the photo with your pet, Hannah will provide extra guidance around wardrobe, hair and makeup, and posing. We will make sure to support you in preparing both yourself and your pet for the session, so that the images will be something you can display proudly and treasure for decades to come.
